Who We Are
Founded in 2007, Student Hospital Connections is a pre-health organization focused on providing Atlanta-based clinical opportunities for students interested in the healthcare field. Our main purpose is to connect GT students, whether they are Pre-Health or not, to volunteering opportunities at local Atlanta hospitals, such as Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory Winship Cancer Institute and WellStar’s Atlanta Medical Center, and other clinical opportunities within and surrounding Atlanta. We also aim to remove the financial burden associated with traveling to volunteering opportunities within Atlanta through our reimbursement program. As a growing organization, we are constantly doing our best to serve our members by improving events and member benefits. We host informational meetings where members can learn how to better navigate the pre-health landscape, fundraisers that go towards the organization and local causes, and casual social events. We strive to provide our members and the GT community the support needed to successfully venture out into the healthcare world!
